EMSA is pleased to release annual Emergency Medical Services Safety Data Reports. EMSA is committed to generating reports that can be of use to the Local Emergency Medical Services Agencies, local providers and other partners such as hospitals, governmental agencies, and other health care entities.

The purpose of these reports is to provide a general description of statewide emergency medical services in an effort to comply with EMSA’s mandate to annually report on the effectiveness of EMS systems related to the system’s impact on death and disability (HSC 1797.121).
